SurgiTel’s next-generation ErgoDeflection™ loupes give you precision optics with true ergonomics and a customizable viewing angle.

Existing deflection loupes in the market often utilize prisms with excessively steep deflection angles, leading many clinicians to adopt non-ergonomic postures by leaning back. SurgiTel’s patent pending ErgoDeflection loupes address this issue by offering a customizable deflection angle, tailored to the clinician’s preferences and requirements. The ErgoDeflection loupe is available in two mounting options, Through-the-Lens (TTL) and Front-Lens-Mounted (FLM). Additionally, with SurgiTel’s patented working distance caps clinicians can extend or shorten the working distance of their loupes for different procedures.

Mounting Options:

ErgoDeflection Through-the-Lens (TTL) Loupe

ErgoDeflection Front-Lens-Mounted (FLM) Loupe

Note: Deflection loupes will increase your working distance. Moving up one step in magnification power for ErgoDeflection loupes is recommended in order to give you the same magnified image size as your straight Galilean or prismatic loupes. This is because sitting in a more upright posture will increase your working distance. Your working distance with straight ergonomic loupes will be longer than with non-ergonomic loupes and your working distance with ErgoDeflection loupes will be longer than with straight ergonomic loupes.
